The purpose of the entry-level Human Resources Assistant is to provide a wide range of support activities inside our HR department. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Ensure the Office of Human Resources is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire, and retain our employees. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and dutiesProviding clerical and administrative support to Director, Human ResourcesCompile and updating employee records.Coordinate meetings Maintain employee database Post job ads. Act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.Assist in creating policies, processes, and documents.Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc) Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc) and take minutes Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc) Communicate with public services when necessary Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Compile new hire paperwork, back up person to conduct orientation to newly hired employees QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum high school diploma; Associate degree preferred. Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position.Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Basic knowledge of labor lawsExcellent organizational skillsStrong communications skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
:Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.No or very limited physical effort required.No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
