Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience managing a CRM
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and system specifications into technical specifications and test plans
Effective communication and presentation skills demonstrating experience with ability to interface and collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and clients
Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adhere to time action plans
Attention to detail
Availability to work some evenings and/or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of work experience in higher education;
Prior experience with Slate or comparative product;
Prior experience with Banner or other ERP systems;
Experience writing queries and reports;
Working knowledge of SQL;
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
Experience creating data transfer mapping and implementing integrations between multiple systems.

Job Description:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks a System Support Specialist II. This position is responsible for day-to-day management of the Slate CRM system, including data integrity, system integration, staff training and overall support of the recruiting and admissions requirements of the office. This position reports to the Associate Director of Technology and work closely with Assistant Directors of Campaign Management and Marketing and Communication as well campaign owners and the recruiting team to utilize the Slate CRM platform to execute strategic enrollment initiatives. The ideal candidate will be process-oriented, pay close attention to details, and have strong writing and analytical thinking skills. Additionally, this role will require in-depth knowledge of admission, marketing and business processes.

Responsibilities include managing and leading the use of the Slate CRM, analyzing user functional requirements, including communication campaigns, online forms, data entry and effective communication campaign development based on user specifications. Additional responsibilities include conducting data queries, import and process student inquiries, test, implement and train Admissions staff on various CRM roles while providing a high level of customer service.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities include technical development of communication campaigns, online forms and events and documentation to maximize use of the Admissions Office CRM software. Provide training and support to departmental users on CRM products. Define and develop queries and reports to maximize the use of CRM, SIS and related software programs. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. occasional weekend and evening work required.
