May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.Shift:
7:30 am – 3:30 pm; requires weekends as needed.Job Summary:
The Ambulatory Clinic Buyer will assist in the operations of the new Pav A Pharmacy at Chandler to support the medication supply chain needs of all UK HealthCare Clinics (both on and off campus). Individuals in this position will be expert users of Cardinal and Talyst applications in an effort to automate and streamline the ordering and replenishing of clinic medications. This role will also be cross-trained by the Central Pharmacy Buyer for cross-coverage and support; position will be housed adjacent to Central Pharmacy Buyer and will report to the Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
