Required Related Experience:

A high school diploma or it’s equivalent is required.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift 50 lbs, work in a hot, wet environment.

Shift:

7am to 3:30pm

Job Summary:

Completes primarily cage wash activities;
Provides facility maintenance and sanitation as directed.
Limited amount (approximately 10% of overall job duties & responsibilities) of simple, routine animal caretaking duties, training program; and other duties as requested by Group Leader or Supervisor. All actions are completed by strictly & consistently following applicable DLAR SOPs including safety procedures & guidelines. Reports any suspected or actual deviations to SOPs or non-routine situations immediately to Group Leader or their Supervisor. Arrives, leaves & takes breaks at work as scheduled. Strictly adheres to DLAR attendance policy.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Animal or mechanical work experience is desirable.
