Physical Requirements:The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with occasional repetitive motion (such as typing). The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects over 50 lbs. The conditions of work may involve regular exposure to radiation, intermittent exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, and occasional exposure to blood borne/airborne pathogens and combative/violent people. May also include intermittent (10%-50%) job-related travel.
Shift:This position is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am -5:00 pm, but will be on-call 24/7 and may include some evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays per departmental needs.
Job Summary:The Interventional Services Prep/Recovery Manager will have direct oversight of Interventional Services prep, holding, and recovering areas, and SDS Departments, as well as day to day operations. This individual will manage staffing to meet population/needs, oversee departmental budget, and be responsible for patient care at the departmental level, to include collaboration with physician partners and other disciplines to deliver quality customer-focused care and effective utilization of services.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise; the ability to multi-task; and will have exceptional leadership, communication, customer service, employee development, time management, organizational, planning, and financial oversight skills.

Preferred Education/Experience:Three or more years of paid employment experience in an Interventional Services or Radiology setting. Additional degree in a business-related field and healthcare leadership or management experience preferred.
