Department Summary:

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, College of Pharmacy is inviting applications for a Senior Research Associate position in the Department of Pharmacotherapy.
Located at the HSC Fort Worth campus, the HSC College of Pharmacy joined colleges/schools of Osteopathic Medicine, Public Health, Health Professions and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 2013. The HSC College of Pharmacy graduated its first class and received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) in 2017.
The Senior Research Associate will report to the Pharmacotherapy Professor in charge of health services and outcomes research.

Position Overview:

The Senior Research Associate will assist with statistical and machine learning for health services and outcomes research projects, which use large databases.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree and two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in any quantitative sciences field (example: Economics, statistics, computer science, epidemiology). Work experience can be substituted for education.

The candidate should have demonstrated experience in software such as SAS and SAS/Macros, SAS/SQL, experience with healthcare data and large data bases, competency in data manipulation and analysis. Experience with R or python software is a plus.

The candidate should also possess strong organizing and problem-solving skills.

Provide data-support services for grant applications to external and internal agencies and assist with institutional review board applications and data user agreements.
