Job Summary

Provide administrative and operational support and coordination in maintaining security of classified data with an Institute research unit or facility. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit research, staff personnel and security personnel; government security agency personnel. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit security personnel. This position will supervise: NA


Job Duty 1 -

Perform processing routines on incoming and outgoing classified documents.

Job Duty 2 -
Reproduce classified materials as directed.

Job Duty 3 -
Distribute and track classified materials.

Job Duty 4 -
Provide information regarding policy and procedures applied to classified materials

Job Duty 5 -
Conduct/host inspections related to material security.

Job Duty 6 -
Provide input to training regimen associated with security procedures and processes.

Job Duty 7 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Four years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Technical Diploma, Associate Degree or two years college course work

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

This job requires working knowledge and skill in the application security policy and procedures relative to assigned area. Included are skills in organization and written and spoken communications, record keeping and use of security related computer applications.
