Description of Work:

Job responsibilities will include:

• Work with the Injury Prevention Center and Gfeller Center Research teams to coordinate research involving concussion prevention and management in middle school sports
• Assist with development and maintenance of research study measures such as surveys, data collection templates, interview guides, and clinical tool templates
• Coordinate logistics between UNC and study participants
• Aid the research team in recruiting participants to be involved in the studies
• Assist with all data collection, data management, and record keeping for studies as requested, specifically a study of concussion prevention and management in middle schools
• Assist data entry, data cleaning, storage, and organization of data
•Assist with daily study activities which include basic office or administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Special Physical and Mental Requirements:

The selected candidate will need to have reliable transportation.
