Position Description:
UCLA Arthur Ashe Legacy Archive Project Coordinator works under the supervision of Professor Patricia A. Turner, P.I. for Arthur Ashe Mellon Grant.

Major duties include overseeing oral history collection process from initial stages of research and interviewee identification throughout the process to submitting finalized interviews ready for posting on the Center for Oral History Research and the future UCLA Arthur Ashe Legacy Archive. Coordinator will work with outside consultants to shape the transformation of the 10+ year old Arthur Ashe: An Inspirational Tour exhibition into a viable on-line and bricks/mortar exhibition. Coordinator will determine resources needed to digitize extensive written materials on Arthur Ashe. Coordinator will staff P.I. on developing agenda for Arthur Ashe Legacy advisory board.
