The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is a global leader in business education. The Admissions team’s primary function is to recruit prospective students to apply to Darden, evaluate their candidacy through application review and interviews, and convert their admission to acceptance to enroll at Darden.

The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia seeks to fill a seasonal position to assess applications and interview candidates for admission. The position is responsible for holistic assessment of applicants’ materials including letters of recommendation, academic accomplishments, short-answer questions, resumes, work experience leadership and team skills among other criteria. The position will interview applicants virtually. Occasional project management responsibilities may be assigned.

This is a seasonal wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year. For more information, refer to the Wage Employment link:

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (master’s degree or MBA preferred)
  • 5 years experience in enrollment management and/or hiring committees
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet regular deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to learn new CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team with excellent initiative and judgement
