Duties include but are not limited to collaborating with study staff, nurses, doctors, therapists, and participants in a professional manner, maintaining multiple databases with PHI in accordance with IRB and HIPAA privacy rules. Daily tasks involve reviewing participants charts for eligibility, facilitating virtual or in person study visits, data collection and entry, scheduling study visits, and documenting study progress.Job Description
RA will screen, contact, enroll, and maintain participants across multiple research studies. Facilitate virtual and in person study visits with participants and study team; including data collection and entry. Attend team meetings and contribute to research strategy planning and execution. RA must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team.
A High School diploma/GED, with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, preferably with experience in research setting, Bachelor’s degree with 0-1 year exp strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills required; ability to work independently as well as, virtually and in person, collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary research team across multiple research studies is required. Knowledge of maintaining multiple databases in accordance with IRB and HIPAA privacy rules, is strongly desired. Solid organizational skills essential. Prior experience with research protocols, data collection, scheduling and knowledge of electronic medical records and proficiency with MS Office suite desired. Background check required. Position contingent upon funding.
