ASCP certification must be obtained within 6 months from date of hire

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for long periods of time.


Three 12-hr shifts 7am-7:30pm per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing clinical core laboratory testing in a fast-paced hospital setting while maintaining a quality of service based on accuracy and timely result reporting.
This position is located in the Core Lab, which is CAP accredited, and testing will include, but is not limited to, blood gas, chemistry, coagulation, hematology and urinalysis. If candidate is not certified at the time of hire, then candidate will have 6 months to acquire certification. Otherwise, the candidate will be separated from employment, eligible for rehire.
