Days; Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm.

Job Summary:

This position will function as the liaison for Principal Investigators and Clinical Research Nurses/Coordinators initiating research studies through the UK Clinical Research Organization.

Duties include but not limited to the following: assists with preparation of internal and external regulatory documents; assists with identification and recruitment of research subjects; verifies requirements to determine patient eligibility for protocols and documents appropriately; assures all screening, eligibility and post-enrollment procedures are performed correctly and evaluates completed case report forms for completeness and compliance to protocol.

This position will follow Medical Center Behavioral Standards in patient care at all times as well as University/VA policies, procedures and protocols.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

IRB protocol, database management.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Previous research related experience preferred.
