Training and Experience: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience, with progressive work responsibility experience dealing with the public

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS:
- must know basic Federal Student Aid policies, procedures, and regulations
- strong accounting and reconciliation skills required
- must be accurate, detail-oriented and have excellent time-management skills
- must communicate effectively orally and in writing and maintain good working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and external contacts.
- proficiency using Word, Excel, and Outlook are required Testing Requirements:Illustrative Examples of Work: - coordinates and monitors all facets of the work-study process, including payroll, work authorization, job descriptions, develops jobs on and off campus for work-study students including jobs that meet the federal mandates community service requirements; aids students in placement with agencies; initiates, processes and monitors employment contracts and earnings for off-campus agencies; assesses student's needs; provides advice and guidance in employment counseling; counsels students on alternatives to work study funding
- monitors financial aid award reports for award changes, disqualifications and reinstatements of students; authorized wage increases and payment for students; maintains work-study program data in Banner Student Information System; maintains documentation on students to comply with audit requirements; develops and updates forms, manuals, orientation packets, student and supervisor handbooks and newsletters
- reconciles federal work study accounts monthly with the Fiscal and Payroll Offices and prepares monthly student expenditure reports
