Department Summary:

The University of North Texas (UNT) is a Carnegie R1 research university and a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution and Minority-Serving Institution, with a diverse population of over 40,000 students. UNT is located in Denton, a cultural hot spot on the northern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country.
