Tenure Track faculty appointment in Information Systems (Cybersecurity). Provide classroom instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in basic and advanced courses in Information Systems and Technology, including cybersecurity; conduct research in cybersecurity primarily in commercial IOT security applications, commercial cryptographic applications, business security processes, and related areas; and participate in service to the University, particularly in maintaining the NSA/DHS CAE-CDE designation and earning the ABET Cybersecurity designation, as well as facilitating student participation in cybersecurity competitions. Requires Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral level degree in Information Systems, Business Administration with focus in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or closely related field. Master's degree in above fields and Ph.D. ABD will be considered if close to completion. Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research in information systems, particularly in cybersecurity and related topics, including software assurance, networking, cloud and database technologies, IoT, and cyber analytics,
• Teach basic and advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
• Provide professional and community service

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires the holder to have a Ph.D. or in Information Systems (or a related area) or to be close to completing a Ph.D. The candidate should a commitment to and an established track record of teaching and research excellence. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and research support. The teaching load for this position is a minimum of four classes per year (2-2 load) as determined by the department chair.
