Postdoctoral Researcher, COVID-19, Molecular and Medical Pharmacology

The Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow. The opening is intended for collaborative COVID-19 research working on identification of cellular therapeutic targets and the development of antiviral drugs. These projects are backed by stable NIH and DOD funding in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in UCLA hospital and Cedars Sinai Medical Center. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Previous experience with virus culture, digital PCR, next-generation sequencing, molecular assay development, or/and animal handling is highly desirable.
