The Director for Administration and Strategic Initiatives serves as the primary liaison for both internal and external constituencies on behalf of the Vice President for University Advancement and CEO of the WSU Foundation. Researches, Directs, Administers, Coordinates and Assigns internal operational activities in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives as they are established by the Vice President for University Advancement and CEO of the WSU Foundation. Independently coordinates, assigns, oversee, or perform a wide variety of administrative support activities on behalf of the CEO and Vice President.Additional Information:

A Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience directly related to the specific duties and responsibilities of the position. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Some positions may require an advanced degree as determined by specific position requirements.Additional Requirements:
Strong computer software skills, including the ability to use office software, such as databases, spreadsheets, word processing.
Demonstrated working knowledge of policies and procedures in a complex academic institution or similar, complex organization.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evening and occasional weekends.
Experience in handling personnel administration.Preferred Qualifications:
