Decision Science: Assistant Professor of Decision Science, tenure-track position, to start September 2021. We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Management Science, or Management or Business Administration with interest in data analytics and/or application of quantitative methods in research, who want to join an innovative department integrating undergraduate management education in a liberal arts environment. Consideration will also be given to a Ph.D. in a related field and substantial relevant managerial experience. Eckerd College emphasizes a teacher-scholar model and seeks faculty with an exceptional liberal arts education and a strong commitment to imaginative teaching and meaningful scholarship. Prior teaching experience and/or managerial experience strongly preferred. Teach seven courses (3-1-3) per academic year including an introductory data systems course, statistical methods, and quantitative analysis (including advanced business data applications). The January Term offers an opportunity to travel abroad with students and teach special topics courses.

Participation in an interdisciplinary, values-oriented general education program is required, including a regular rotation in the two semester first year student program. Eckerd College, the only independent national liberal arts college in Florida, has a tradition of innovative education and teaching/mentoring excellence.
