The Senior Assistant Director for Transfer Affairs manages the transfer selection process and assists in the management of the transfer recruitment process for the Admissions office. This includes working closely with the Senior Associate Director for Selection to manage the operational aspects of the transfer selection process, and with the Senior Associate Director for Recruitment and the Recruitment Team to recommend changes and enhancements to the recruitment plan for transfer students. The person in this position is expected to participate in the efforts of our office to build a strong and diverse applicant pool and commit to principles of antiracism, diversity, equity and inclusion in the college search and application process. In addition, the person in the position works closely with the Office of the University Registrar on the credit evaluation process.

Required Skills
  • In order to be considered for this position, please include a cover letter in your application materials
  • A bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of directly-related experience are required for this position, along with strong public speaking skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication skills
  • Evening and weekend hours are necessary for most of the calendar year, as well as the ability to travel extensively for days or weeks at a time
  • A valid drivers license and CORI background check are also required
