Normal Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Summary: The Mental Health Worker I/Driver has primary responsibility for Brewer Porch Children's Center client safety, client supervision. The Driver operates automobiles, vans, or other vehicles. This position is responsible for the safe transportation of clients as needed. This position is also expected to understand and implement the client treatment plan for each client under his/her care.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and some therapeutic, rehabilitative or behavior management experience; or nine hours of college coursework in major courses of special education, psychology, social work, counseling, education, behavioral or social science, or communicative disorders can substitute for work experience. Must successfully complete health screening after offer of employment has been made. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Must be able to perform crisis intervention techniques.

Final candidates who are not current Brewer-Porch Children's Center employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
