Job Summary: The Producer/Director designs and produces multi-media programming for specified broadcast and non-broadcast audiences.
Additional Department Summary: Position serves as a multimedia producer/director of projects produced for broadcast and non-broadcast programming produced at CPT&R. The position works closely with clients on projects designed for specific audiences. The Producer/Director also provides assistance in the training of student production staff. Ability to travel extensively, work long hours, and work on weekends and holidays as necessary. Ability to lift, handle and maneuver tools, materials and supplies of the job up to 10 pounds.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Fine Arts, Broadcast Communication, Telecommunication and Film, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field; OR Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communication, Telecommunication and Film, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field and two (2) years of experience as a writer, producer, and director in a broadcast or multimedia production environment; OR Associate's degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of experience as a writer, producer, and director in a broadcast or multimedia production environment; OR a high school diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience as a writer, producer, and director in a broadcast or multimedia production environment.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.
