Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:

The areas of specialization is Philosophy of Race. The area of competence is Philosophy of Science. On-line teaching experience and proficiency in feminist philosophy are considered strengths. The regular teaching load for tenure-track faculty is three undergraduate courses per semester. It will include, among other things, some combination of Philosophy of Race, Philosophy of Science, and Core Curriculum courses such as Critical Thinking. Summer teaching may be possible depending on demand.

Educational Requirements for the Position:

The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy prior to the appointment in Fall 2021. ABD candidates will be considered.
