Job Description Summary
Administer the nation's premier cohort-based executive doctorate program in higher education management. The Coordinator has responsibility for day-to-day logistics related to program operations and front-line contact with prospects, current students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Job Description


The coordinator manages the smooth delivery of an academic experience for 25 students per cohort through 20+ courses (e-book deliver, Canvas development and support, management of academic records, informal advising, and ongoing correspondence with students and 20+ faculty). Operational initiatives require frequent use of Concur to manage payment/purchasing requests, other Penn systems and frequent contact with various vendors (hotel, caterers) to plan for student meals and housing.

This position also supports alumni engagement by managing various listservs, databases, newsletters, serving as a liaison to the Alumni Advisory Board and assisting with the planning and execution of an annual conference that attracts high-level speakers and 50% of the alumni population. This position also serves as a first point of contact for prospective students and participates in virtual and/or live recruitment sessions and other marketing initiatives to attract a robust and talented applicant pool.

Expected to work a few evenings and a weekend during monthly cohort weekend.

Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Experience coordinating events and managing administrative logistics is required. Experience working in higher education preferred. Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues. Tech-savvy, flexible in proactively taking on additional responsibilities and maintaining confidentiality when needed. Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed.
