FSU's Equal Opportunity Statement can be viewed at: The Grants Compliance Associate serves as the contract and grants management contact for the Title IV Part A, Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Program sub-recipients. The Grants Compliance Associate provides support to the SSAE team and sub-recipients in the areas of grant management, compliance with federal and state rules and regulations, and all internal and external grant and contract processes and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

Review Title IV Part A, SSAE Program district applications including program plan, budget and other documents.

Provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders on all grant and contract processes and procedures.

Assist sub-recipients in achieving and maintaining compliance with federal and state rules and regulations by providing technical assistance, sample process and forms, trainings and other items as appropriate.

Assist sub-recipients in other grant management activities such as amendments to the sub-grant agreement, submitting documentation to support the delivery of services, reports and other as needed.

Assist program director to develop a new desktop monitoring tool for LEAs.

Maintain files and documentation; generate appropriate responses to information requests.

Handle project and program amendments during fiscal year.

Substantial travel to provide training, technical assistance and site visit district monitoring.

Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience related to the duties of this position.

(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.)

Experience reviewing grant applications and contracts.

Experience preparing grant and contract budgets.

Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of data collection.

Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize assigned tasks.

Computer skills to include experience with Office 365 and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, education, or related field.

Five years of applicable contracts and grant management experience at a state agency.

Five years of experience in accounting or training and technical assistance with knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, and related policies, procedures, principles and practices.

Exhibits ability to collaborate with subrecipients to develop supportive relationships.

Exhibits excellent organization, communication and technology skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
