Job Description:

Pitt County Department Board of Elections – 1717 W. 5th St., Greenville NC 27834 – is currently seeking Administrative Assistants.

Job Duties:
Under direct supervision, performs clerical work in the conversion of data from original source to electronic database format according to entry and verification procedures established within the Statewide Election Information Management System (S.E.I.M.S). Resolves problems and inconsistencies with data and performs limited data analysis. Duties involve greeting/interviewing public, providing voter registration service, assisting with absentee requests, and resolving questions about voting or referring individuals to appropriate elections staff person.
