Pooled Testing Greeter

$15/hour, approximately 20 hours/week, some weeks will be 40 hours. Temporary position.

The Pooled Testing Greeter assists the volunteers at the COVID pooled testing site by greeting students, faculty and staff, checking them in, and monitoring the collection of swabs. The position is not responsible for actual testing. Travel to Campus Centers is required

1. Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Associates' degree preferred.
  • Experience: Customer service experience preferred.
  • Special Skills: Organized and a self-starter who can remain focused to make deadlines in an uncertain environment. Detail oriented.
  • 2. Essential Functions:

    • Greet students, faculty and staff to the testing site and check them in using a provided spreadsheet.
    • Monitor the swabbing activities to ensure people are moving through the process while maintaining social distance.
    • Help with batching bags of samples to be sent for testing, and ensuring supplies are available.
    • Other duties as required during the testing.
