Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Technical Analyst, assist in the design, creation, and modification of Web sites. Analyze user needs to implement Web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. May convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible Web formats by using software designed to facilitate the creation of Web and multimedia content. Maintains department’s social media websites. Troubleshoots customer’s website issues. Assists with administrative and fiscal tasks; organize and coordinate office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Coordinates and corresponds with various departments regarding assignments. Ensures that customers contacting the Residential Life Office, either by phone or in person, receive the best service possible.

Assist in the design, creation, and modification of Web sites Troubleshoots customers website issues Files documents in appropriate folders or performs data entry task Handles correspondence Uses office machines such as copiers, scanners, and desk top computers Provides customer service in person, email or by phone, greets visitors, and resolves routine questions or issues following established procedures and guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Details

  • Excellent customer service and communications skills, works well with others
  • Highly self-motivated, organizational skills, and task oriented
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Work, Outlook, etc.
  • Graphic Design/Adobe Suite Experience preferred.
  • Proficient in various social media websites.
  • Office skills/experience preferred.
  • Must be able to properly use a computer, phone, copy machine.
  • Able to work 19 hours Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5 pm
  • No certifications or license required.

Able to lift 50 pounds

Ability to drive in the State of Hawaii
