Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The primary responsibility of the Senior Program Manager is to manage all aspects of the administrative management of large extramurally funded research projects with minimal supervision by the PI. The Senior Program Manager is required to have an in-depth knowledge of protocol requirements and good practices as set forth by federal regulations. As the primary resource for the study, the Senior Program Manager oversees the activity of all staff assigned to the project and acts as a liaison between the patient, investigator, Institutional Review Board and sponsor. The Senior Program Manager works independently in coordinating and implementing all assigned research projects. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for all data and source documentation, adverse event reporting and maintenance of complete regulatory files.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of directly related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic data base management and statistical analytic skills
  • Interest in developing administrative and managerial skills
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
