DescriptionThe University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) College of Business seeks a highly motivated individual for the position of Program Enrollment Coordinator for the National Security Agency Faculty Development (NSA-FacDev) Program.  

The NSA-FacDev Program’s goal is to deliver a comprehensive, programmatic approach to cybersecurity faculty development. UCCS will serve as the lead for a consortium of educational institutions to provide cybersecurity education and training to over 1500 participants for faculty roles including existing faculty, professors of practice, doctoral candidates, and transitioning military and civil services personnel. The program will offer certificates in narrow cybersecurity topics, masters and doctoral degrees in cybersecurity and cybersecurity management, boot camps in cybersecurity technology, and courses and pedagogy to fill specific knowledge gaps. 

The Program Enrollment Coordinator is responsible to work with partner institutions to coordinate student enrollment across programs, student tracking, eliminate multiple registration of ‘professional students’, monitor student progress, help resolve any problems/student issues, and calendar scheduling of all workshops, courses, certificates and programs. The Program Enrollment Coordinator will be working with partner institutions, NSA Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-C) regional hubs, national CAE-C institution, external organizations and agencies to advance common priorities for the NSA-FacDev program.

Job Duties

  • Matches education and training opportunities available to NSA-FacDev participants.
  • Coordinates student enrollment across programs.
  • Eliminates multiple registration of ‘professional students.’
  • Monitors participant tracking and progress.
  • Coordinates with partners for calendar scheduling of all workshops, courses, certificates, bootcamps and programs.
  • Helps resolve any problems or participant issues. Serves as an advocate for participants as needed.
  • Provides intensive file and case management assisting participants in overcoming barriers that inhibit success in training.
  • Coordinates activities with staff members at partner institutions who provide related services.
  • Enhances and maintains partner relationships and serves as the point of contact for participants and partner institutions.
  • Ensures that all documentation is accurately reflected in participant files across all partners.
  • Prepares Monthly Mangement Report.
  • Performs other related duites as assigned.
  • Work Location/Travel Expectations:

  • The work location is Colorado Springs, CO.
  • In-state and out-of-state travel is likely and may make up to 25% of the position's time.

  • Ability to understand new concepts, synthesize information, and operationalize new program policies and procedures.
  • For the purposes of FLSA this position has been determined to be exempt from (not eligible for) overtime under FLSA.

    Salary Range: Generally starting at: $43,524 - $45,000 per year.

    Please note that this is a two-year grant-funded, term-limited position and will be funded until September 17, 2022.

    Tentative Search Timeline

  • The potential dates for interviews with the search committee will be during the week of December 7, 2020.

    QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, of which at least two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience in the field of adult training programs or at least two (2) years of higher education experience.     
  • Appropriate college education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.
  • Experience with Candidate Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Practices.
  • Experience with IT recruitment and career placement.
