The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of geriatric clinical care. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine is required.

Responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; providing clinical care in the ambulatory care practice or in the hospital in the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit, and courses, grant writing, or other scholarship and research which will be determined through discussion with Division Chief and/or mentor.
