Job Summary/Basic Function:

A social work professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to teach social work courses in compliance with the Council on Social Work Education’s accreditation standards. Additional responsibilities include student advising, gatekeeping, professional and university service, and scholarly activity.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates should have a MSW from a CSWE accredited program with two years post-masters practice experience; have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; have the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues within and outside the department; be flexible, organized, collegial, and able to multi-task; understand and articulate social work from a biblical worldview.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience in a CSWE accredited program is preferred. The preferred candidate will have a license in social work and a minimum of three years post-master’s practice experience. A PhD or JD is preferred.
