Description:

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine invites applications from outstanding scientists who are qualified for research track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor, Tenure Track.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or the equivalent in biomedical field and will be expected to develop externally funded research programs in pathogenesis-oriented research, related to the field of hepatobilliary pathobiology, diseases, or cancer.  Ability to create or use of genetically altered animal models is necessary.  Applicants should have substantial training in cell and molecular biology.  Applicants should have high impact peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to perform cutting edge research. Preferences will be given to applicants who have already been awarded or will be soon awarded federal funding.
