Job Description:

  • Program responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing, implementing, and debriefing assigned summer classes
  • Lead assigned morning, afternoon, and evening programs
  • Providing hands-on, experiential education and life-skill building opportunities to participants
  • Providing a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for patrons
  • Attend and actively participate in all staff trainings and meetings
  • Work cohesively with fellow team members
  • Complete all assigned programmatic duties in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a neat and tidy instructional area
  • Report any damaged items to your Assistant Director/Program Director
  • Other duties as assigned

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete all assigned housekeeping duties in a timely manner
  • Set a positive example for all participants, including cleanliness, punctuality, language, sportsmanship, and table manners
  • Follow all camp rules and regulations, including those of appropriate attire, no smoking, vaping, or use of alcohol or illegal drugs
  • Encourage and practice respect of personal property, camp equipment, and facilities
  • Complete daily chores
  • Communicate any problems or issues as they arise during the camp week to your Assistant Director/Program Director
  • Observe the nightly curfew during camp weeks
  • Advertised Salary:

    $230/week plus room and board

    Minimum Requirements:

    · Desire and ability to work with children and adults in camp setting

    Ability to accept and adapt to guidance and supervision

    · Ability to teach various activities

    · At least 18 years of age or out of high school one full year.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Driver License
  • Out of High School one full year
  • Special Instructions to Applicants:

  • Meals are provided during working hours
  • Lodging provided from May14, 2021 through August 6, 2021 in camp staff cabins (one male and one female staff cabin at each camp).
  • Most weekends staff are not required to work, unless the camp has booked a weekend rental group. If assigned to work these groups, you will receive additional pay.
  • Applications must be submitted by 11:55 p.m. of the posting end date.
