POSITION SUMMARY

The Department of Finance at the University of Illinois invites applicants for 100% full-time positions to teach and conduct research in any area of finance, but with specific interest in applied economics, data science, investments and asset pricing, corporate finance, insurance and risk management.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels
• Conduct research in Finance
• Advance intellectual environment through scholarly service

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must possess a PhD and have published at least one paper in a leading finance or economics journal.
• Candidates must demonstrate a distinguished record of publications, teaching effectiveness and leadership potential commensurate with position sought.

SALARY

Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience; salary and research support are competitive.
