Full-time Faculty Positions

Full-time faculty positions will be posted on a per-opening basis. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Applicants will be evaluated at the college/school level for the position which they are submitting an application. Unless noted by a close date, positions will remain open until they are filled. Part-time Faculty Positions

DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part Time Faculty to teach courses in a variety of disciplines across all 10 colleges and schools. Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. The pool will remain in place until the closing date specified in the posting details; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must resubmit. All individuals in the pool will be notified by email when the posting is closed.

DePaul University Speech Language Pathology Program invites applications for a 12-month non-tenure track position, to serve as the Speech Language Pathology Program Clinic Director. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and energetic leader, who has the vision to create a meaningful impact on the college, university and community, to collaborate with the program director and faculty in developing our new program at DePaul.

The selected candidate’s responsibilities will include clinical administration; developing and implementing new and innovative clinical programming; assuring accreditation standards related to clinical experiences are met; teaching; clinical supervision; teaching; scholarship; and service to the department and university. The Clinic Director will play an important role in shaping DePaul’s health science initiatives. Expertise in augmentative and alternative communication is desirable. This is a 12-month appointment. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications. This position will begin July 1, 2021.

Required Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • A Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology with ASHA CCC-SLP certification;
  • Licensure, or eligible for licensure, in Illinois;
  • Experience supervising students in clinical settings;
  • Demonstrated record of teaching, scholarship, and/or service to the profession.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology with ASHA CCC-SLP certification;
  • Experience as a university clinic director, or commensurate clinical administrative experience, is desired;
  • Expertise in augmentative and alternative communication, is desired.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field of speech language pathology;
  • College or graduate level teaching experience;
  • Familiarity with CAA accreditation standards;
  • Individuals from underrepresented groups and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply;
