Job Description:The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Health Disparities program is seeking a full-time research program manager to provide clerical, HR, and fiscal support to a core research team that implements multi-component, grant-funded, health promotion intervention research (principal investigator, Dr. Carolyn M. Tucker). The incumbent is responsible for the daily management and coordination of a variety of grant-related clerical, fiscal, and personnel tasks, including initiating and processing procurement card charges; payments to vendors, consultants, and research participants; supply purchasing; budget management; approving employee time and payroll reports; and commitment accounting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple projects; and high motivation to deliver quality work products.

Expected Salary:

The salary range is $30,000 – $35,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience with managerial duties such as hiring personnel and performing a variety of fiscal tasks (e.g., budget management, purchasing, and research-related payments).
