Position Summary:

The Department of Psychiatry at UNC-Chapel Hill is seeking to hire two Master’s level clinicians to participate in the research and clinical activities of the Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (CEED). This position will be responsible for working in a multi-disciplinary team framework to provide primarily outpatient therapy services to patients of all ages with eating disorders. Responsibilities will include conducting psychological evaluations and providing individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy. Clinical services may at times be delivered in CEED’s inpatient program as well. The Clinical Instructors will also be available to serve as a therapist for funded clinical trials as part of her or his primary duties.

Educational Requirements:

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field and have both training and experience in psychotherapy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates must be a licensed therapist in North Carolina with experience working with patients with eating disorders. Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy, family-based treatment, dialectical behavioral therapy and/or couple therapy is preferred.
