The Financial Aid Analyst is a part of the Financial Assistance department and is responsible for data integrity amongst several systems in support of OSFAE operations including data transmission with the Department of Education, the institutional legacy system, student accounts, private lenders and other third parties. The incumbent will execute multiple aspects of the production and reconciliation schedules in accordance with University policy and federal & state regulations.

1. Daily disbursement review
2. Daily production schedule output review
3. Duplicate record evaluation and correction
4. Direct Loan reconciliation support
5. Pell Grant reconciliation support
6. State reconciliation support
7. Overaward review and correction
8. XML reject record management
9. COD reporting
10. Work basket QC support
11. Student employment support including Workday operations
12. Student employment time card approval
13. Loan processing support
14. Management of PowerFAIDs staging tables
15. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
  • Ability to prepare financial and accounting records.
  • Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret data.
  • Ability to compile, organize, interpret, and communicate data and results concisely.
