Job Purpose:
This position is a a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track Faculty Specialist position in the area of Maternal Child Nursing.


Essential Duties:
- Teaching - Service - Other duties as outlined in the faculty contract and handbook

Additional Skills Required:
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Brightspace, and the instructional use of technology to teach traditional, hybrid or on-line courses, and simulation as needed. - Strong commitment to high-quality instruction in a diverse, student-centered environment and the ability to work with students with various learning styles and backgrounds. - Interest in active and collaborative learning and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment. - Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere among students, faculty, and staff.

Minimum Education Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Nursing; PhD and DNP applicants welcome. Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. CRNP (FNP) encouraged to apply.

Preferred Education:


Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
1-2 years of teaching experience in a BSN program in the area of maternity, labor & delivery & maternal-child health 3-5 years professional nursing practice experience in area(s) of teaching responsibilities
