Job Description

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Missouri in Columbia has an immediate opening for a post-doctoral fellow in liver research. We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate with Ph.D. degree. The candidate must have worked on liver mouse/rat models. The candidates must establish their experience by published manuscripts in handling rodent models, histopathology, western blotting, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence techniques, and over expression studies. Knowledge in mutational analysis and genome databases is desirable. The ideal candidate would possess peer-reviewed publications, the ability to write manuscripts and a strong interest to help build a robust research program while learning new techniques and skill.

Qualifications

The candidate must have worked in a molecular biology research program. The candidates should establish their experience by published manuscripts in handling of rodent models, histopathology, RTPCR, western blotting, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence and overexpression techniques. The ideal candidate would possess the ability to write manuscripts and a strong interest to help build a robust research program while learning new techniques and skills.
