Job Description

The University of Missouri, Department of Surgery, is seeking candidates for the position of Clinical Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery in the clinical track. This is an opportunity to join a busy and growing group of academic surgeons. Truman Memorial VA Hospital, which is adjacent to the campus. The clinical breadth includes advanced open and endovascular techniques including cutting-edge catheter-based techniques and a myriad of complex open procedures. Facilities and resources in both facilities include state of the art Hybrid Rooms, dedicated operating room staff, and access to fully-equipped cardiac catheterization laboratories.

As Mid-Missouri’s only academic medical center, The Division of Vascular Surgery is the only tertiary academic medical center with a Level 1 trauma center and faculty are actively involved in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Candidates should have an interest in an academic practice and an interest in outcomes research will be strongly considered as the Division has an active Health Services Research program supported by data analysts and a PhD. Projects currently involve students, residents, fellows, and faculty.
