Job Summary

Provide services involving the receipt, storage and delivery of items within a campus unit and/or on a campus-wide basis which may include mail, packages, materials and supplies. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: supervisor, co-workers and delivery customers. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position not will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Receive and verify condition of incoming shipments.

Job Duty 2 -
Pull, load and account for items for delivery.

Job Duty 3 -
Locate recipients and delivery items which may involve operation of motor vehicle.

Job Duty 4 -
Provide work guidance to other courier personnel as required.

Job Duty 5 -
Maintain loading and receiving area, mail and supply rooms in orderly condition.

Job Duty 6 -
Maintain inventory and delivery records.

Job Duty 7 -
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries.

Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Two to four years of job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires skills in performing stocking and delivery of supplies including scheduling and maintenance of related records and operation of loading/unloading equipment and motor vehicle. Customer service skills are also required.
