Job Details

Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach anatomy and physiology. Individuals must be willing to teach during the day. The semester starts the week of 1/25/2021. Anatomy and Physiology II is the second in a two part series. The course emphasizes the endocrine, lymphatic, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems. Students have the opportunity to apply concepts discussed during the lecture portion of the class to clinical questions presented throughout the semester.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in anatomy and physiology, an allied health profession, or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. We seek individuals with at least one year of high school or college teaching experience in anatomy and physiology, experience teaching online, familiarity with the Anatomage, and flexibility teaching online and on-campus lab sessions.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references are requested if the candidate is invited to complete a teaching presentation. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
