Job Description

Under supervision, this position is responsible for the implementation of the university's academic scheduling process. Major concentration is academic classroom scheduling and schedule editing. This position will also be responsible for scribing, editing, and monitoring Degree Works. Will provide back-up for Registrar functions and aid to Graduation procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Semester creations of class sections in Banner and scheduling software program.
  • Scheduling of room assignments for classes each semester, ensuring no overlap of times of classes.
  • Responsible for maintaining Degree Works updates and reports.
  • Responsible for scribing updates to Degree Works.
  • Provides backup in all areas as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Four years of related experience.

KSAs:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

Supervision:

  • This position may supervise employees.
