Responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives impacting core business processes and critical patient care functions. Facilitate improvement initiatives using Lean management methods and other appropriate PI tools. Works collaboratively with executive leadership administrators managers and physicians to identify and enhance strategic system issues which produce quantitative and qualitative results for both internal and external Health System customers. Performance outcome deliverables include but not limited to financial quality safety satisfaction service operational efficiency and process improvements. Partners with Unit Managers and Medical Directors to establish and maintain the Unit Base Leaders (UBL) and associated Be Safe initiatives. Serves as UBL performance improvement Coach including advisement regarding appropriate methodology and tools applicable to specific opportunities.
- Provides effective Leadership/Facilitation to ensure completion of Medical Center Quality and Performance Improvement projects to meet goals and objectives utilizing appropriate process improvement methodologies.
- Partners with Unit Managers and Medical Directors to establish and maintain the UBL UBT and associated Be Safe initiatives.
- Technical Execution: Demonstrates technical execution in collection and analysis of data.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required Masters Degree Preferred.
Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in a facilitator role applying Lean methods and tools to support performance improvement initiatives is required. Must have experience in strategic deployment of process improvement initiatives delivering training mentoring others and working on complex projects.
Licensure: Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Preferred. Software: MS Office Suite MS Visio MS Project and Intermediate Excel skills
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
