Arcadia University invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track faculty position in the Hybrid Physician Assistant Program. The curriculum is to be delivered in a blended learning model via distant learning with several immersion experiences to be located at the Glenside, PA campus. Principal Faculty are instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the Physician Assistant Program and the education of its students.

Arcadia's College of Health Sciences (CHS) houses the University's Public Health Program, Medical Science (Physician Assistant Studies), and Physical Therapy programs. Through evidence-based practice and project-based learning, these programs prepare healthcare professionals for success in a rapidly changing global environment, with applied and pro bono clinical thesis work, clinical rotations, international fieldwork, and multicultural assessment. Graduates of Arcadia's CHS programs are at the forefront of their respective fields and employed with leading health organizations.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Adept interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skillful problem solving capabilities
  • An ability to work effectively in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree is required; doctorate degree or willingness to pursue a doctorate degree is preferred
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a physician assistant
  • At least three years of experience in PA education

Other Requirements:

  • NCCPA certification
