The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Cooper Union is currently accepting submissions from qualified candidates to teach History and Theory of Art electives. We seek an active, culturally diverse faculty of the highest caliber with an academic background in the following: pre-17th century art history topics, with an emphasis on the non-west; art of the Global South; art, ecology, and climate change; art and mental health; art and race; art and indigeneity. A demonstrated record of teaching is preferred.

About The Cooper Union:

Qualifications:

ABD or PhD degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent and demonstrated strong teaching record preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience. This is a unionized position.
