The Research Specialist A will breed and care for the AD transgenic mice, performing about 5-6 behavioral tests, blood and brain collection for studying intranasal dantrolene therapeutic effects and potential side effects on brain AD pathology on neurodegeneration, oxidative stress, inflammation, impaired autophagy and mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum damage and cognitive function. The Research Specialist A will collect and summarize the experimental data, manuscript preparation, publication and assistance to new external grant application.
Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
This position is contingent upon funding.
