JOB SUMMARY: Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a Unit of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English. This position involves teaching a 4/4 course load, scholarship, student advisement, and service. Travel among our campuses will be required as needed. Teaching responsibilities may include upper- and lower-division courses, day and/or evening classes, online, and/or hybrid classes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph D. in English (literature focus)

Preferred

• Teaching experience across a range of fields in literature and cultural studies.
• Experience with online and/or hybrid delivery of instruction.

POSITION: Assistant/Associate Professor of Education – Spring 2000 – Multi-Campuses (Cochran, Macon, Warner Robins, and/or Dublin)

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience.
